Aloe arborescens is a neat aloe species that grows into a 5-6 foot hedge, but also can be restrained in a pot. Amazing red flowers. The native range of this species is S. Tropical & S. Africa. It is a succulent shrub or tree and grows primarily in the desert or dry shrubland biome. It is used as a medicine, has environmental uses and for food.
