Herbaceous climber in the cucumber family (Cucurbitaceae) is grown for its tiny edible fruit that looks just like a miniature striped watermelon. They are SO tasty! Eat when still green. They can be eaten raw, used in stir fries, or pickled like cucumbers. Does not seem to attract pests like cucumbers and other cucurbits. Full sun, give it somewhere to vine! Will reseed itself, or persist in zones that are warm enough year round. Rare to find offered for sale!! 4" pots, shipped in careful wrapping.
