Spiked Blazing-star, Gayfeather

It's not just for Floridians! This plant is native to many parts of the east coast to the midwest. Native Distribution: NJ to MI & IL, s. to FL & LA; naturalized northeastward. Will tolerate dry conditions in part shade but prefers a soggy area in full sun. Dormant in the winter, but gives a grand show of purple blooms throughout the summer! Attracts plenty of pollinators as well as hummingbirds! 1 gallon or 4" pots available, seed grown! Available for local pickup as well as shipping. Shipped in careful wrapping if shipping is selected.
