Neptunia pubescens is a groundcover that looks a lot like Sunshine mimosa; feathery delicate leaves with a bright white midvein that is very decorative! Larval host plant for ceraunus blue (Hemiargus ceraunus) butterflies. Powderpuff looking yellow flowers. It is a legume, so it aids in fixing nitrogen in the soil for availability to other plants as well as itself. Full sun, drought tolerant. This is a very unusual Florida native - a rare treasure to find. Another one I was very inspired to get into the commercial scene and defy its lack of appreciation!
